Our Elders

Pastor William “Mac” McClelland

My ministry philosophy is based on Ephesians 4:12-13 and prioritizes the equipping of the saints. In our current day and age our churches have become largely biblically illiterate and prefer story telling over biblical exposition of the Word of God. My outlook on the ministry of the church is rooted in Paul’s teaching as to the significance of our road of sanctification, becoming more and more Christlike as we go through this life. One of the ways in which we become more Christlike is through a deeper understanding of who God is and who we are and, the only way that we come to that understanding is by the study of the Word of God. The natural byproduct of that teaching is a church of disciples that makes disciples, sharing the Gospel message with the world.

My family enjoys going to the lake and the beach, or any body of water. We enjoy kayaking and hunting for rocks to add to our collection of polished stones and gems from various places in the south east. We love to cook out and spend time with our extended family; aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins.
